We are looking for a volunteer one day per week to help our
communications team answer requests from the public. We get hundreds of
questions from children, students, supporters, and other curious people
each month, and if you are organized, a creative thinker and like to do
a bit of research this might be your dream volunteer position!
You should have excellent English skills to carry out this position, and
any ability to read/write in French of Spanish is a huge bonus.

We are looking for native-level English writers/editors to volunteer in
our communications team in the production of newsletters and
publications. The ideal candidate will love words, enjoy coming up with
captions, be able to boil down long complex texts to their essentials,
and be available to work at least one day a week from our Amsterdam office.

skills? work with our media coordinator
We are looking for volunteers with one to three days a week to
spare to assist our media coordinator in Amsterdam. Tasks range from
helping draft press releases to monitoring press coverage, updating
our media webpages and so on. We are looking for people with some
media experience, excellent English language skills, and available
for at least four months.

web skills? join our team
We are looking for volunteers with one or two days a week to spare to join our webteam in Amsterdam. Tasks range from writing web friendly copy and email actions, creating new web pages, making photo galleries, regular site maintenance and promoting our website on-line. We are looking for people with a keen eye for detail and excellent English language skills, who are keen to get involved in all aspects of helping to run a large busy website.
We also need French and Spanish native speakers to work on our French and Spanish websites.

Friends of the Earth International is looking for enthusiastic French and Spanish speakers who can help us reach audiences around the world with our important campaigns for environmental and social justice. If you have a few hours spare each week to translate documents from English to French or Spanish, your help would be much appreciated! We are a small friendly office, providing services for environmental groups in 70 countries across the world. We can't afford to pay you, but we can help out with reasonable travelling expenses, and it's great experience. Please note that we prefer our volunteers to work from the Friends of the Earth International office in Amsterdam. We regret that we do not have the resources to respond to open job solicitations.
